Growing and Expanding - An Evening of Ideas

Join us on Tuesday, April 10th at 7:00 PM at the Senior Center in Grand Marais to meet our design team from Builders Commonwealth.  Hugh Reitan, our architect, Arno Kahn, our lead contractor and Jill Isola Johnson, our interior designer, will all be at the meeting along with Co-op board members and our expansion committee.  We'll share ideas for our new store - shaping the future of Cook County Whole Foods Co-op.  This meeting will be an opportunity to find our where we're at in the process of designing our new store.  You can see very preliminary drawings of possible store configurations.  We can brainstorm and prioritize ideas for our ideal store.  We are in the very early stages of designing our new Co-op so there will not be any finished drawings or finalized floor plans.  This is an excellent opportunity to give input at the beginning of the planning process.

If you cannot attend the meeting on Tuesday, April 10th, there will be additional times and ways to give feedback.  We plan to have an expansion survey available by early May.  We will also have plans posted in the Co-op and a notebook for ideas and comments.  Also, always feel welcome to stop by my office to ask questions about the expansion and to share ideas that you have about the future of our Co-op.
